Detailed Introduction
In 2021, the company undertook the "Offshore Construction Subcontract Project for Adaptability Renovation of In-Service Platforms in Qinhuangdao 32-6 and Caofeidian 11-1 Oilfields Shore Power Application Project (Capacity Expansion)". As China’s first offshore oilfield group shore power project, it is also the world’s largest-scale offshore oilfield AC transmission project with the highest voltage to date. Key work covers multi-disciplinary tasks: mechanical, piping, electrical & instrumentation, ventilation, outfitting, and thermal insulation.
The project transmits onshore high-voltage electricity to offshore areas, which is stepped down and distributed via the shore power platform to all production and oil extraction platforms in the group. Once operational, it replaces offshore platforms’ generator-dependent power supply, realizing energy conservation and consumption reduction.
